Spc. Brian T. Hall, a Fayetteville, Ga., native, now a squad leader with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment's Horse Detachment, trains with his horse Sassy at the Col. Jack Wood Stables in Fort Irwin, Calif. Sept. 8. The Horse Detachment is preparing for the 2009 National Cavalry Competition at Fort Robinson, Neb.
