Members of the 180th Fighter Wing fire department participated in an aircraft crash and recovery exercise at the Toledo Express Airport on April 22. The drill, required every three years, not only tests the response of airport authorities, but also the response of other local emergency, fire and rescue crews that would normally respond to such an incident, to include the 180th FW fire department.
