Residents of local communities in and around Sainte Mere Eglise, France hand out champagne to service members in preparation for a friendship toast, June 3. The group of more than 350 service members, currently in the Normandy region supporting events in honor of the 65th anniversary of D-Day, was invited to dinner in the citizens' homes as a show of appreciation for the liberation of France as a result of the Normandy invasion.
