Marine Corps Colonel Retires After Career Marked by Extensive Command

Col. Paul H. Maubert reflects on his 30 years of experience in the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired from the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, April 30, at Forward Operating Base Delaram in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Maubert achieved a 30-year career marked by extensive command from infantry and reconnaissance platoons as a lieutenant, to the 3rd Force Reconnaissance Company, the 2nd Battalion of the 25th Marine Regiment, the U.S. Group East Timor and East Fallujah Iraqi Camp. He also served four years with the Royal Marines Commandos (U.K.).
