Louisiana National Guard Conducts Annual Disaster Response Exercise

Members of the Louisiana National Guard's 3rd Battalion, 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, conduct watercraft search and rescue missions and medical aid to "evacuees" during a disaster response exercise in preparation for the 2009 hurricane season in Hackberry, La., April 4. The purpose of this exercise is to test the LANG's current disaster response plan and identify deficiencies through the execution of multiple, concurrent missions.
