3rd Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 159th Aviation Regiment Commander, Lt. Col. Brian Dillon addresses Soldiers and commanders during a transfer of authority ceremony, Aug. 18, 2008. Dillon's 'Quick Strike' Battalion officially replaced its sister unit, the 2nd Battalion, 159th Aviation Regiment in its role as the attack aviation asset for Multi-National Corps – Iraq. Both units hail from Illesheim, Germany, and work for U.S. Army Europe's 12th Combat Aviation Brigade.
