B-roll of U.S. Marines beginning construction on Combat Outpost Payne. The arrival at the bend of the Helmand River marks the furthest south U.S. Marines have gone in Afghanistan. This is the largest COB being built by the Combat Logistics Battallion-8. The dimensions will be 800 feet by 800 feet. COB Payne will serve as a logistics center. Scenes include Marines arriving, various views of the river valley, construction vehicles moving dirt and a interview with a Marine discussing arriving at the Helmand River Valley.
