Capt. Katherine Williams, commander of Company I, 4th Support Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division-Baghdad, returns a volley with a punch during a game with Iraqi national police of the 1st NP Mechanized Brigade during a friendly match, Feb. 4, at Forward Operating Base Falcon. Officers and non-commissioned officers of the 1st "Raider" Brigade women's volleyball team challenged the Iraqi security forces to a friendly competition, once they learned the NP had a team of their own -- a team that included three professional Iraqi volleyball players. The Iraqis beat the Raider Brigade in three consecutive games to take the series, the best three-out-of-five matches. Williams hails from Minneapolis.
