Airmen 1st Class William Dale, left, and Thomas Everett, both assigned to the 386th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, talk on Aug. 26, 2008 about how quick thinking avoided a tragic incident at an air base in Southwest Asia. During a cargo mission in early August, Airman Everett saved Airman Dale from possible brain damage by oxygen deprivation. Airman Everett has been nominated for the Airman's Medal for his efforts. Both Airmen are deployed from Nellis Air Force Base, Nev.
